For the past three years, in addition to the release of the annual WWE video game title, a special collector’s edition is also available for a higher price.

For “WWE ’12,” a collector’s edition featuring The Rock could be had. The following year, a “WWE ’13” special edition featuring “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was available. Last year, for “WWE 2K14,” a “Phenom Edition” was available, containing special products of The Undertaker. For the past two years, autographs of the featured star were included in the special edition.

“WWE 2K15” will likely be no different, and it appears that this year’s special collector’s edition will be centered around Hulk Hogan, who was one of the first four characters confirmed for the game. Hogan sent the following tweet to a fan, noting that he has to sign 25,000 photos for a “special edition” of the game:

The regular version of the game features John Cena on the cover. Both editions of the game are always available for pre-order a month or two before the release of the game. This year, “WWE 2K15” comes to North America on Oct. 28, 2014. Internationally, it is available on Oct. 31.

Editor’s Note

Hogan is an obvious choice for the special edition, given his recent return to WWE.
