In an effort to better sell a fictional shoulder injury he received at the hands of WWE COO Triple H on the March 17 edition of “Monday Night RAW,” Daniel Bryan was kept off the show entirely last night in Brooklyn, NY.
According to a report by F4WOnline.com, many fans in attendance were not at all pleased when they realized that the leader of “The YES! Movement” was not going to be gracing the WWE Universe with his presence.
He had been advertised heavily in the local area, as well as on “Friday Night SmackDown,” WWE.com and even the RAW Pre-Show.
Bryan was also slated to compete in the dark match after RAW went off the air, but that was eventually replaced by a six-man tag team match with The Shield and The Wyatt Family.
It would be very surprising if Bryan were kept off the go-home show before WrestleMania 30 next week, as his WM encounter with HHH is one of the more heavily-anticipated matchup’s on the card.
“Monday Night RAW” at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn drew 15,708 fans, which is a legit sellout.
