With several spots in the 2015 “Royal Rumble” match still undetermined, the opportunity for surprise entrants to make an appearance is quite high.

One of those entrants could be a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, per PWInsider.com.

There has reportedly been a heavy push within WWE to get Diamond Dallas Page in the match. Although not yet officially confirmed, he is expected to be one of 30 men vying for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 31.

Page’s last match with WWE was back in 2002 in a losing effort to Hardcore Holly during an episode of “Smackdown,” per ProFightDb.com. The now 58-year-old is a three-time WCW Champion and two-time United States Champion. He also had reigns as European Champion and a Tag Team Champion with Chris Kanyon in WWF.

The same report noted that Bo Dallas could also be an entrant in the “Royal Rumble” match as well. He’s been out of action since October with a left foot injury.

Fourteen superstars have already been confirmed for the big Battle Royal, including Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan and Rusev.

Editor’s Note

If DDP and a returning Randy Orton cross paths during the match, I’ll probably lose it. Diamond Cutter vs. RKO??
