It looks like World Wrestling Entertainment may be in the process of snatching up yet another major player from the independent circuit.

According to Reddit user and former WWE worker MetsFan4Ever, former CZW World Champion Biff Busick is set to receive a tryout with the company.

He’ll reportedly be down in Orlando sometime next week for the tryout.

Gabe Sapolsky of WWN is said to be furious over Busick potentially joining WWE. He’s usually very supportive of his wrestlers making the jump, but with Busick, he’s “irate” because of how important he is to his shows.

Dean Ambrose (formally Jon Moxley) is the last big-name player from CZW to head to WWE and find success. Busick may be next in line.

Editor’s Note

I’ve seen Biff Busick wrestle a few times, mainly during stints with PWG. He has a solid physique and a high wrestling IQ that WWE should look to consider signing to a deal. He’d be an amazing addition to the NXT roster.
