World Wrestling Entertainment is coming off a highly-successful showing at the Barclays Center Saturday night with NXT’s “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” show, headlined by Finn Balor retaining his NXT Championship in a Ladder match against Kevin Owens.

Get ready, NXT Universe: The next NXT TakeOver live special will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 7!
During the live NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn broadcast, NXT General Manager William Regal announced that the Oct. 7 event will feature the finals of the first Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
What else will happen when the Superstars and Divas of Tomorrow step onto the live stage again, only on WWE Network? Stay with WWE.com in the coming weeks as more matches are revealed.
This will be the eighth “NXT Takeover” event in the history of the brand, dating back to “NXT Arrival” in February of last year, which featured Neville defeating Bo Dallas in a Ladder match to become NXT Champion.
It was also announced during “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” that NXT would be heading overseas in December to run some shows in the United Kingdom.
