The record of 295 days, previously held by former Diva AJ Lee, was broken on Tuesday after Nikki walked away from “Monday Night Raw” with her title intact following her match with Charlotte.
Current WWE Tag Team Champion, New Day member Big E, took to Twitter to offer his reaction to Nikki’s victory:

Big E debuted on WWE’s main roster as the muscle for AJ and Dolph Ziggler on Dec. 17, 2012, working with the pair for close to eight months.
The New Day successfully defended their titles on “Raw” against Darren Young and Titus O’Neal of The Prime Time Players. They will now move on to WWE “Night of Champions” for a title match against The Dudley Boyz.
Editor’s Note
Good on Big E for showing support for his friend. He and AJ appeared to have a tight-knit bond behind the scenes during their run working together. Many fans would share his apparent sentiment over AJ being the ultimate Divas Champion in company history. How much of his disapproval of Nikki’s win is genuine remains to be seen, though.
