Now that we’ve seen The Dudley Boyz return to WWE, could “The Charismatic Enigma” be next?

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been a lot of talk backstage recently among company officials regarding former WWE World Champion Jeff Hardy.

With the future of TNA somewhat up in the air and the promotion look to cut costs, Hardy – one of TNA’s highest paid talents – could be looking for future employment in the near future. With that, WWE might be looking to bring back the fan favorite.

In the past, mentioning Hardy’s name was viewed as a faux pas amongst WWE management due to their troubled history. During the Sept. 7 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” The Hardy’s were mentioned during the backstage segment between The Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian, who were scheduled to appear on the “Stone Cold Steve Austin Podcast” that evening.

In addition, WWE.com recently polled fans about who they would like to see make a WWE return, and Hardy topped the list.

WWE always looks to make decisions that are “best for business,” and bringing Hardy back might be just that.

Editor’s Note:

WWE would be smart to bring back both Hardy’s, once their TNA contracts have expired. Both could inject even more energy into the Tag Team division, and a reignited feud with the Dudley would be epic. I would LOVE to see another Tables, Ladders and Chairs match between those two teams in the future!
