According to a report by PWInsider.com, the reason why Ted DiBiase Jr. is leaving the WWE is because he came to the realization that he was a “bottom-of-the-ladder” talent who was only being used on the road and not for television.

He had reportedly been discussing leaving the company for quite some time with his former co-workers, so ultimately, his departure didn’t come as a surprise to many on the roster.

DiBiase Jr. felt that if he left on his own accord, the WWE would respect his decision and if any opportunities arose in the future, they could bring him back with no animosity between the two parties.
