Divas Tag Team Match Confirmed for WrestleMania 31

WWE.com has confirmed that at WrestleMania 31 on March 29, AJ Lee will team with Paige to take on WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella and her sister Brie Bella in a Divas Tag Team Match.

The #GiveDivasAChance hashtag was even used in the match preview:

“Despite many previous altercations, “frenemies” AJ and Paige — who fought tooth and nail over the butterfly-emblazoned title in 2014 — look to be united by their common foes, Nikki & Brie, and the union could not be better timed for The Diva of Tomorrow.

The devilish twins spent weeks bullying Paige and using underhanded tactics to turn back her challenges for the title. The Divas division veterans also got the better of the WWE rookie as she struggled to find a tag team partner to support her. When it looked like Paige had no one left to turn to, the unlikeliest ally of all, AJ, reared her head and sent a vicious message to the always-boastful Bellas.

Sign me up! This is a Divas match at WrestleMania that could really draw some interest. It wouldn’t shock me to see all of the other Divas added to form some sort of a Lumberjill match, though. Typical WWE, right?
