After several allegations were made against him over his conduct and behaviour towards students and workers in NXT, head trainer Bill DeMott announced his resignation from the position on Twitter on March 6:

DeMott will be replaced by Matt “Jason Albert” Bloom on an interim basis until a permanent hire is revealed.

One former NXT worker who’s certainly happy that DeMott is no longer head trainer is Osmund Cherry, who worked in developmental from 2012 to 2013 under the name Malik Omari.

Cherry took to social media to attack DeMott and express how overjoyed he was that he stepped down:

Another former NXT talent, Austin Matelson, composed a memo where he addressed specifics of the horrible things DeMott would allegedly say and do, including telling Cherry to “go back to Africa.”

PWInsider.com has confirmed that DeMott is no longer a part of World Wrestling Entertainment, as he’s left the company entirely.

Editor’s Note

This entire situation is so crazy, especially since we don’t know for sure what exactly happened during DeMott’s stint as head trainer. It’s not helping his image, though. His reputation is forever scarred.
