In WWE, Captain Charisma is a four-time world champion, as well as a nine-time world tag team champion.
Also, he is both a Grand Slam and Triple Crown Champion.
Much of his career was spent alongside Edge. Together, these icons won the WWE Tag Team Championship seven times.
Both of these Attitude Era stars ruled the tag team division in the late 1990s and early 2000s. They had many quality TLC and ladder matches with The Hardy Boyz and The Dudley Boyz.
All three teams put on incredible performances, but Edge and Christian came out victorious in many of these bouts.
In 2000, Edge and Christian were awarded Tag Team of the Year by Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Their Triangle Ladder match at WrestleMania 2000 was awarded Match of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. In 2001, the same three teams won Match of the Year for their TLC match at WrestleMania X-Seven.
Christian would stay in WWE until 2005 when he jumped ship to Total Nonstop Action (TNA).
As a two-time NWA World Heavyweight Championship, Christian reached success in TNA.
He was not done with WWE, though. He returned to WWE in 2009, where he would soon win the ECW Championship.
Then Christian set his eyes on the World Heavyweight Championship, which he would win.
During this time, he had a very intense feud with Randy Orton.
From 2012-2014, Christian had various championship pursuits, including a performance in the 2014 Elimination Chamber match.
Edge recently revealed that Christian is still under a WWE contract as a wrestler.
Christian makes occasional appearances on WWE television. In addition to this, Christian is on the WWE Network, where he co-hosts Edge and Christian’s Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness.
The world of pro wrestling has seen many stars come and go, but Christian still has some gas in the tank.
No matter when he officially retires, his legacy will always be etched into history.
