On Thursday, Aug. 7, WWE surprisingly released one of its former world champions, Alberto Del Rio. Soon after the news broke, rumors swirled that Del Rio slapped a social media worker during the week’s tapings of WWE programming. Del Rio reportedly snapped due to alleged racist comments by the WWE employee.
While WWE kept it brief in terms of an announcement on Thursday, the company would release a statement on the matter the following day. Interestingly enough, it came through social media, on WWE’s Twitter account.
Below are WWE’s tweets on the matter:

Besides it being odd that WWE would release a statement on Twitter, what makes the whole situation more intriguing are Triple H’s actions. Following the tweets, WWE’s COO retweeted them both.
Below is a screenshot of Triple H’s timeline, showing he retweeted WWE’s statement on Del Rio:

Sheesh, what a strange thing to do. With the reports that Del Rio slapped a social media worker, it definitely looks like said worker released this statement. With Triple H retweeting it, I’m sure the worker got approval from him beforehand. Additionally, I think it may signify that Del Rio did more than just slap the social media staffer, if Triple H is also involving himself.
