On Sunday, April 26, WWE will air its 2015 edition of “Extreme Rules,” which again serves as the first pay-per-view following the year’s WrestleMania. In the presumed main event for the show, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will make his first title defense against Randy Orton. The bout will be contested inside a steel cage, with Orton unable to utilize his “RKO” finishing maneuver.
After “Extreme Rules,” WWE will air its next pay-per-view, “Payback,” on Sunday, May 17. The third ever WWE “Payback” event will take place in Baltimore, Maryland at the Royal Farms Arena. With the event less than a month away, WWE has already posted an advertisement for the show.
On its Youtube page, WWE posted this teaser for “Payback:”

The teaser strongly hints towards a Triple Threat match between current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, and Roman Reigns for the championship gold. The advertisement showcases Seth Rollins’ historic night at WrestleMania, where he lost to Orton in singles action, only to end the night by defeating Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship thanks to cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase.
Editor’s Note
It certainly looks like this is the direction the company will go. Following what should be a one-off with Big Show at “Extreme Rules,” there really isn’t anywhere else for Roman Reigns to go.
