On Tuesday, Jan. 13, WWE was part of the 17th annual Needham Growth Conference. The New York City conference is put on for investors, and features presentations from a wide variety of entities. Representing WWE, were Stephanie McMahon and Chief Financial Officer George Barrios.

During their presentation, McMahon and Barrios revealed that they believe WWE can garner somewhere between three to four million WWE Network subscribes. Obviously such a sharp increase in subscribers would be a ways away, as the WWE Network still does not have one million subscribers.

Still, WWE feels it can obtain this range of WWE Network subscribers due to the number of broadband homes around the world that watch WWE. According to McMahon and Barrios, there are 98 million WWE broadband homes worldwide. If WWE can have around three to four percent of these homes subscribe to the WWE Network, the three to four million subscriber figure would be in the realm of possibility.

Additionally, WWE revealed that it is still looking to expand the WWE Network worldwide. On Jan. 19, the WWE Network will finally arrive in the United Kingdom, perhaps WWE’s second-largest market. Countries that WWE is looking to bring the network to include: China, Japan, Germany, Italy, Thailand, among others.
