As we previously reported, Maryland Championship Wrestling noted on its Facebook page that Kevin Nash will still appear at its “Season’s Beatings” event. The news was a bit of surprise because Nash’s status for the event was in question due to his arrest on Christmas Eve, in addition to his son Tristan’s, because of a physical altercation between the two that would go down as battery. Nash would go on to state that his family is not the “Capones,” and that the ordeal was an isolated incident.
Despite MCW reassuring its fans that Kevin Nash would still appear at “Season’s Beatings,” that will not be the case. On the day of the event, Saturday, Dec. 27, MCW again took to its Facebook page, revealing that Nash had to pull out of the event. According to the post, Nash had a “medical emergency” to attend to:
“BREAKING NEWS!!! Kevin Nash had a medical emergency with his son in Florida this morning and has to miss tonight’s MCW Event. Taking his place will be Former WWE Champion, WWE Hall Of Famer, “The Hardcore Icon” Mick Foley!!”
As noted in the post, Nash will be replaced by WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley at the event.
Editor’s Note
If there is indeed a medical emergency, hopefully all goes well for the Nash family.
