On the Aug. 11 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” there will be a birthday celebration for WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, who turns 61 that day. Various stars and other WWE Hall of Famers alike are reportedly set to appear as “special guests” for the segments.
Part of the celebration will contain a reunion of one of professional wrestling’s most famous stables, the nWo (New World Order.) Along with Hogan, the two other founding members of the stable, Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, will be on hand to celebrate with Hogan. For Hall, it will be his first appearance on “Monday Night Raw” in more than 12 years.
Other rumored guests for the segment are Ric Flair, Jimmy Hart, and Paul Orndorff.
Since the announcement of the segment, and WWE teasing “special guests,” many have speculated that Sting will debut in WWE during the segment. All signs point to “Stinger” signing on in WWE, as he has appeared at WWE events, has his own merchandise, and will be featured prominently in “WWE 2K15.”
However, according to PWInsider, as of the weekend prior to “Monday Night Raw,” Sting is not booked to appear for Hulk Hogan’s birthday celebration. Some believed that Sting could debut, and then appear at “SummerSlam” in some fashion. Sting has been confirmed to appear at various WWE festivities in Los Angeles for the event.
Editor’s Note
While it’s still unlikely, don’t count out Sting not appearing Monday night.
