WWE and E! partnered up for “Total Divas” in July of 2013. Since then, the show has generally been a success for WWE and its Divas division, as the most recent episodes of “Total Divas” averaged more than one million viewers. With the success of the show, fans have wondered if WWE will ever have a reality series centered around WWE Superstars, rather than Divas. WWE itself has even asked fans about a potential male oriented WWE reality series through multiple surveys about new WWE Network content.

Sheamus, who will unfortunately be sidelined from in-ring action for the time being, is one of those who would like to see a WWE reality series for WWE Superstars. “The Celtic Warrior” recently told Bang Showbiz the following in regards to a new WWE reality series:

“I think there should be a new reality show for the guys, I think it would be interesting. It should definitely happen now we have the WWE Network. The bigger the Network grows the more content they are going to need and a reality show would definitely take off, especially if it had all the behind-the-scenes stuff.”

“Fans want to know more and more about what happens away from the ring, and they want to know about the Superstars as people and what they are all about. The fans are hungry for that knowledge. If it happened, I believe it would be a very successful show.”

Though, Sheamus thinks a potential reality project looking at WWE’s stars training at the WWE Performance Center would not be the best idea:

“I think the stuff at the Performance Centre would be interesting at first but it could become a bit repetitive, because the wrestlers are doing the same thing every day, five days a week. It could be interesting if there was enough on there and they had other stuff, then maybe it could be a successful show. Maybe a show about life on the road would be better, because you’d get to see how we actually live and what we have to do outside of the ring.”

Editor’s Note

With “Legends’ House” being well-received, I could definitely see another male oriented reality series coming to the WWE Network.
