Despite the event being free for new subscribers to the WWE Network, it appears WWE will be pulling all the stops for “Survivor Series.” Most notably, a report from Friday, Nov. 21, noted that Sting will be appearing at the event. If “Stinger” does appear, it would be his first appearance inside a WWE ring. Some people within the wrestling industry, including former WWE commentator Jim Ross, believe WWE intentionally let that information be known.

Another big name is expected to make a return at “Survivor Series,” according to PWInsider. The website that first broke the news about a potential Sting appearance is also reporting that “The Viper” Randy Orton will appear at “Survivor Series.” He was reportedly flown into St. Louis, Missouri, his hometown and the host of “Survivor Series,” from New Mexico.

Orton was in New Mexico due to filming for WWE Studios’ “The Condemned 2: Desert Prey,” which stars Orton. This caused him to be written off of WWE programming on Nov. 3, as he was taken out by The Authority on “Monday Night Raw.” With “Survivor Series” hailing from Orton’s territory, many fans had always thought Orton’s return would indeed come at “Survivor Series.”

Editor’s Note

No surprise here. Expect Orton to fully turn babyface, and aid Team Cena in defeating Team Authority.
