Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling promotion continues to update its roster page, revealing new additions to the GFW team. The latest marquee name added to the GFW roster is none other than Scott Steiner, a former WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
Steiner’s addition to the roster came on the same day that his former WCW comrade and WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall was removed from the roster. His conspicuous removal from the GFW team came less than 24 hours after TMZ ran a story on a drunken Hall having to be told to leave a New Jersey wrestling event in which he was too intoxicated to perform.
Though, like Hall, Steiner has been appearing in TMZ stories for the wrong reasons. Steiner allegedly told Hulk Hogan’s wife, Jennifer, that he had plans to kill her husband, when he bumped into her at an airport during WrestleMania 31 weekend. Steiner, who went on to refute the report, was promptly barred from the SAP Center for the 2015 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Saturday, March 28.
Editor’s Note
This move has a 141 and two-thirds percent chance of paying off. I can only imagine what role Steiner will have; hopefully GFW is wise enough to give him the microphone.
