As we previously reported today, Tuesday, Jan. 28, there is a rumored card out for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. In our previous report, we noted that John Cena, Sheamus, and Daniel Bryan have been confirmed to try and obtain the WWE World Heavyweight Champion from Randy Orton in the six-man Elimination Chamber match. Additionally, the previous report expected Brock Lesnar to be added to that match, leaving just one spot left up for grabs in the build-up to Elimination Chamber.
However, F4WOnline is reporting something to the contrary in regards to the Elimination Chamber match at the PPV. The website is reporting that joining Cena, Sheamus, Orton, and Bryan in the chamber, will be Batista and Alberto Del Rio.
John Cena, Sheamus, and Daniel Bryan earned their spots in the Elimination Chamber match on the Jan. 27 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” after they defeated The Shield via disqualification. With the match being for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, its champion, Randy Orton, will of course also be included.
We here at WrestlingRumors.net find it obscure that both the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Royal Rumble winner would both be in the chamber match. Perhaps this means that not only will Orton’s title be on the line but also Batista’s title shot at WrestleMania XXX in some sort of capacity. While this would be odd, it would be interesting nonetheless to see how the match would work out.
Be sure to let us know in the comments section below who you, the reader, would like to see join the four confirmed participants in the Elimination Chamber match.
