According to a report by WrestlingInc.com, Hulk Hogan will be working WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, La. on April 6 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The website’s report states that a fan at the Affiliate Summer West Marketing Conference in Las Vegas, Nev. talked to Hogan at the event, and Hogan stated that he will in fact be working WrestleMania XXX.
However, the report should come as no surprise to those who have been up to date with Hulk Hogan returning to WWE. Since Hogan’s choice to not renew with TNA in late 2013, rumors have steadily progressed about Hogan returning to the company.
Over the past couple of weeks, all signs have pointed to Hogan returning to the company in some capacity. Previous reports have stated that WWE officials are confident in having Hogan sign a deal sometime before WrestleMania to work professional wrestling’s grandest stage. In a recent exclusive report of ours, we reported that Hogan attended the Jan. 7 “WWE Smackdown tapings,” presumably to talk a deal with WWE officials.
The latest buzz surrounding Hogan involves him inducting Ultimate Warrior into the WWE Hall of Fame. Along with inducting Warrior, Hogan may become a two-time WWE Hall of Fame member if the reports of the WrestleMania I main event being inducted into the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame are true.
Only time will tell if Hulk Hogan will in fact return to the WWE, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating on a possible return. Due to the plethora of rumors on Hogan throughout the first couple of weeks in 2014, some fans believe Hogan may very well make his WWE return as a surprise entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble match. However, WWE may choose to go down the route of announcing a return beforehand in order to draw more viewers in.
