Maryse Speaks on The Miz and Naomi Angle from “Monday Night Raw”

The opening match of the Dec. 1 showing of “Monday Night Raw” saw a team crowned number-one contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championship, currently held by The Miz and Damien Mizdow. In a Tag Team Turmoil, The Usos got one step closer to reclaiming the tag titles, eliminating Adam Rose and The Bunny last.

During the Tag Team Turmoil, Naomi, the wife of Jimmy Uso, was shown watching the match backstage. In a later backstage segment, The Miz approached Naomi, complimenting her for her music video titled “Dance All Night.” Miz handed her his business card in an effort to bring her success.

Following that conversation, Damien Mizdow was in singles action, wrestling Fernando of Los Matadores. The Miz was on commentary for the bout, but would soon be approached by Jimmy Uso, who would promptly slap Miz’s “moneymaker.”

In November of 2014, it had been rumored that Maryse may soon be returning to WWE, in addition to Eve Torres. In a tenure that spanned more than five years, Maryse was a two-time Divas Champion.
