On Tuesday, June 2, WWE taped the June 4 edition of “Smackdown,” the first showing of the program following the 2015 “Elimination Chamber” event.

Below are spoilers to the June 4 “Smackdown” from Houston, Texas:

Kicking off the show, was WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins. Alone in the ring, as the Money in the Bank briefcase hung above him, the champion reflected on The Shield breaking up one year ago. Rollins was interrupted by Dean Ambrose, who cut a promo on their upcoming Ladder match at “Money in the Bank.”

1) The Primetime Players def. The Ascension and The Lucha Dragons- In this Triple Threat tag team bout, Titus O’Neil picked up the victory for his team, pinning Viktor of The Ascension.

Backstage, The New Day cut a promo on The Primetime Players. On-screen WWE Director of Operations Kane interrupted, informing the trio that Kofi Kingston will face Neville later on in the night.

2) WWE Intercontinental Champion Ryback def. Stardust in a non-title match- Ryback made quick work of Stardust with a “Shellshock.”

Renee Young interviewed Paige, who was upset over The Bella Twins utilizing “Twin Magic” to cost her a chance at the Divas Championship on “Monday Night Raw.” She vowed to bring Twin Magic to an end.

Backstage, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper cut a promo about being family.

3) NXT Champion Kevin Owens def. Zack Ryder- In his first NXT Championship Open Challenge match, Owens made quick work of his foe. After the match, Owens laid Ryder out with yet another “Pop-Up Powerbomb.”

This time, Renee Young caught up with Sheamus, who discussed his involvement in the year’s Money in the Bank Ladder match.

4) Neville def. Kofi Kingston (w/ Big E and Xavier Woods)- Neville bested Kingston with a roll-up pin.

Next, was MizTV featuring special guest Lana. Rusev would make his way to the ring, wanting a second chance. Though, he would be interrupted by Dolph Ziggler, who ended up leaving with Lana.

5) Roman Reigns def. Sheamus via disqualification- During the match, Kane, along with J&J Security made their way ringside. Kane ran interference, hitting Reigns with a big boot for the disqualification. He then proceeded to put Sheamus down with a chokeslam. Rollins then entered, retrieving the briefcase in order to beat down Reigns. Ambrose scurried down to make the save, as the three former Shield members fought over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns hit a “Superman Punch” on Rollins, who then received a “Dirty Deeds” from Ambrose. “Smackdown” closed with the two babyfaces standing tall yet again.
