At WWE’s biggest event of the summer, “SummerSlam,” WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena will put his title on the line against Brock Lesnar. For Lesnar, it will be his first match since ending The Undertaker’s historic undefeated streak at WrestleMania.
On the Aug. 11 edition of “Monday Night Raw,” the two had their first and only confrontation in the build to the match. During Hulk Hogan’s birthday celebration, the closing segment of the show, Lesnar attempted to ruin the night, as Hogan and many other past legends were in Lesnar’s “home.” However, the plans of Lesnar and his manager Paul Heyman were foiled by John Cena, who entered to make the save. The two would not come to blows, as Lesnar exited the ring and made his way up the entrance ramp.
Three days after “Raw,” on Thursday, Aug. 14, Hulk Hogan had some interesting comments in regards to the match, claiming he is “betting the farm” on John Cena. The comments came through his Twitter account, as he replied to a tweet from Brooklyn Brawler:

Since Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE in 2012, this will be the second time the two have clashed. At the 2012 edition of “Extreme Rules,” in Lesnar’s first match for WWE in more than eight years, he lost to Cena in an Extreme Rules match.
Editor’s Note
Hogan may have to rethink that one. Though, Cena should not be ruled out to win this match.
