As we previously reported, Vince McMahon had put an end to the @CrankyVince twitter account. Our report, courtesy of Justin Labar from Wrestlezone.com, noted that the man behind the account may very well have been figured out within the company. Labar’s sources believed that the account had been deleted because Vince held a private meeting with whoever ran the account.
At the time of the previous report, it appeared that the account had been deleted or suspended. However, it now appears that it is not the case. Despite reports of its death, @CrankyVince appears to be live and well, tweeting on Thursday, June 19, the day after the recent report. After its resurfacing, the account remains the same. All of its old tweets can be found and its followers remain, meaning that someone did not create a new account with the same Twitter handle.
Below is one of the account’s safe for work tweets from June 19:

In the past, it had been speculated that current WWE commentator JBL was the man behind the account. During an edition of “Monday Night Raw,” both JBL and @CrankyVince tweeted the same thing almost simultaneously. However, JBL vehemently denied being associated with the account. JBL did appear to be innocent, as he and the @CrankyVince account used different devices to tweet, something JBL noted in his denial.
Editor’s Note
Long live @CrankyVince!
