On Thursday, June 11, 2015, the wrestling world lost one of its finest in “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. The WWE Hall of Famer tragically passed away at the age of 69 that morning due to “natural causes,” according to daughter-in-law Eden.
Friday, June 12, the day following Dusty Rhodes’ death, the WWE Network added a one hour special, titled “Celebrating The Dream,” to its programming schedule for Monday, June 15. The special tribute to “The American Dream” will air immediately following the day’s edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
PWInsider has published a report regarding WWE Network’s “Celebrating The Dream” special, providing some information on WWE’s remembrance of Dusty Rhodes. While it will obviously look at the life and career of the wrestling legend, it will also feature freshly shot interviews from some of Dusty’s friends and colleagues. The website noted that two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is one of those who sat down for an interview to be used in the special.
Additionally, during Sunday’s “Money in the Bank” pay-per-view, in addition to the week’s showing of “Monday Night Raw,” WWE will be displaying various video tributes and highlights to honor the life of Dusty Rhodes.
