8/9 Smackdown *Spoilers*

Here are the results from Tuesday’s Smackdown tapings for the August 9 edition:

1) Randy Orton def. Rob Van Dam- About a 13 minute match, Van Dam missed the five-star frogsplash, then Orton immediately hit a RKO.

Next is MizTV with guests AJ Lee and Big E. Langston. Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn end up interrupting, which leads to Miz, the official host of SummerSlam making a Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn vs. Big E. Langston and AJ Lee match for the pay-per-view. AJ and Big E. then jump Ziggler and Kaitlyn, but the latter end up getting the upper hand in the end.

2) Fandango def. Kofi Kingston- Fandango hit his top rope leg drop for the win in under five minutes.

3) Daniel Bryan def. Wade Barrett via submission– Wade Barrett came out fully shaven after Bryan’s attack on Monday Night Raw

4) Kane def. 3MB (handicap match)- Kane made quick work of 3MB and choke-slammed Jinder Mahal for the win. After the match, The Wyatt Family appeared on the big screen, and Bray Wyatt cut a promo on his upcoming “Ring of Fire” match against Kane at SummerSlam.

5) Christian def. Alberto Del Rio- Christian picked up the victory via a roll up in just under 20 minutes. The match was a non-title match. After the match, Del Rio tried to attack Christian, but Christian countered and left Del Rio laying in the ring.

With Del Rio down, Sandow came out with his Money in the Bank briefcase and a referee. However, before the bell rang, Cody Rhodes ran down then leaped from the top rope in order to prevent Sandow from cashing in.
