Well, it looks like Payback didn’t end after the show went off the air, as Braun Strowman attacked Roman Reigns backstage following their match on tonight’s show. So, it looks like their feud will continue, although it’s unclear if Roman will actually be on tomorrow night’s Raw show.
Strowman is scheduled to take on Brock Lesnar at WWE’s Great Balls of Fire show in July. So, his feud with Roman could continue until the end of June, although it’s unlikely that Braun will actually beat him again if they have another match prior to the July show.
If Roman and Braun don’t end up wrestling before July, they’ll likely have their blow off match at SummerSlam in August, where, surprise, surprise, Roman will get his win back.
Current plans call for Roman Reigns to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at next year’s WrestleMania, which is why he’ll eventually defeat Strowman.
