Shinsuke Nakamura is the Focus of the First Backlash Commercial

WWE aired the first commercial for next month’s Backlash show during tonight’s Raw exclusive pay-per-view, and the ad heavily featured recent NXT call up Shinsuke Nakamura, who was called up to SmackDown during the superstar shake-up. In fact, Nakamura was the only superstar from the blue brand that was featured in the ad.

As of right now, it looks like Nakamura will take on Dolph Ziggler at next month’s show, then after that, he’s scheduled for a massive babyface push, according to Cageside Seats. So, it looks like WWE, at least for now, is going all in with the King of Strong Style.

So far, the only announced matches for the show are Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, The Usos vs. Breezango for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, and Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles for the United States Championship, although you shouldn’t expect Jericho to make it to that match, as he’ll probably drop the title back to Kevin Owens on Tuesday.
