Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Chris Benoit has been erased from history for a little over a decade now, but that didn’t stop Kurt Angle from mentioning his name during a recent WWE 2K18 press event.

While talking about his favorite opponents, Angle named all the names that you would expect: Eddie Guerrero, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, and, of course, Chris Benoit.

Benoit was, by far, Angle’s best opponent during his first run with WWE. They had a ton of classic matches, but, unfortunately due to the circumstances surrounding Benoit’s death back in 2007, WWE hasn’t acknowledged any of them.
