When The Undertaker made his return to WWE television back in November, he made his return to the SmackDown brand, and he made it pretty clear that from that point forward, he’d be appearing exclusively on WWE’s blue brand. But then something changed.
Back in November, WWE’s WrestleMania plan for The Undertaker involved John Cena. But, as we’ve learned in recent weeks, The Deadman will no longer be going up against Cena in Orlando, which is actually why he’s been moved to Raw.
According to Casgeside Seats, WWE has moved The Undertaker over to Monday nights because his WrestleMania opponent is a Raw superstar. As of right now, we don’t know exactly who it is, but early predictions are that it’ll either be Braun Strowman or Roman Reigns. Who knows? Maybe it’ll end up being Goldberg. But probably not.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that The Undertaker will go up against someone who still has a lot of time left with the company. Essentially, they want to put The Deadman in the ring with someone who can benefit from the match in the long run.
