It looks like a recent NXT call-up will soon become one of the faces of WWE’s blue brand, as Cageside Seats is reporting that Shinsuke Nakamura is set for a massive babyface push which will begin at some point in the near future.

Since being called up to the main roster following WWE’s superstar shake-up, Nakamura has been involved in a mid-card feud with ex-WWE World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, which will likely end after the two have a match at next month’s Backlash show.

So it looks like AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and Shinsuke Nakamura will be the top babyfaces on SmackDown throughout the rest of this year, while guys like Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin play the role of the brand’s top heels. Needless to say, they’re a little bit weak on the heel side.
