Since the brand extension draft back in July, the Raw main event scene has featured the same superstars competing against one another in some form, as Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins have all worked with or against one another on a weekly basis.
This past Monday’s Raw was no different.
The show’s main event featured a handicap match for the United States Championship, where the team of Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho challenged Roman Reigns.
Long story short, Jericho ended up pinning Reigns, thus winning the US Title for the first time in his career.
Rusev, who is a former US Champion, wasn’t impressed.

Jericho later responded to Rusev’s tweet:

It looks like WWE will probably do a United States Championship match between Jericho and Owens at WrestleMania 33. Of course, they could throw us a curveball, and have Owens successfully defend his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble, but that doesn’t seem likely.
How do you think WWE will book Jericho’s US Title run? Let us know in the comments below, or over on Facebook!
