UFC 203: Mickey Gall and CM Punk Octagon Interview

On Monday, Duke Roufus, the head trainer at Roufusport MMA, which is where ex-WWE superstar CM Punk trains, posted the remaining schedule for his team for this year. The schedule, which can be seen below, showed “CM Punk vs. TBA.”

Just a short time later, stories began coming out which were suggesting that, based on this post, CM Punk has a fight coming up in the near future. The stories were coming out despite the fact that Mike Rhodes, who trains at Roufusport, said that the gym’s head coach makes these cards all the time with Punk’s name on them. In short, the fact that Punk is on the card doesn’t mean that he has a fight coming up soon.

The last we heard, Dana White hadn’t offered another fight to CM Punk. However, he is still under UFC contract, which probably means that they’ll give him another chance. As for when they’ll give him that second chance, well, that’s obviously to be determined. But, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon.
