John Cena Talks About His WrestleMania 33 Proposal

Earlier this month at WrestleMania 33, John Cena proposed to his longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella after the couple defeated The Miz and Maryse, but we still don’t know when the actual wedding will take place. Earlier this week during the premiere of The Wall, which Cena has a part in, the former 16-time World Heavyweight Champion talked about his decision to propose to Nikki on WWE’s grandest stage, and the couple’s wedding plans.

“I just wanna make sure that it’s a it’s a good day. We’ve made our lives very public and I think the world knows that it’s been a lot to just get to that proposal moment. I want [Nikki] to be as happy as she was at that moment.”

It doesn’t look like we’ll see Cena or Nikki in a WWE ring until this summer, if not later. In fact, there’s a chance that Nikki’s in-ring career could be over due to injury, so we might never see her wrestle again.
