Here’s How WWE Management Reacted to the Paige Photos/Sex Tape

Last week, some very non-PG rated photos and videos of ex-Divas Champion Paige made the rounds, but they were shared without her consent. Following the leak, many wondered if WWE would punish her, along with Xavier Woods, who appeared in one of the videos.

On Tuesday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about how WWE management reacted to the Paige situation, and whether or not they will punish her.

“So here’s the deal: I did hear from WWE, and they didn’t say anything specific, but they’re not gonna [punish] anybody. I didn’t think they would unless a sponsor complained because, number one, The New Day is somewhat of a hot act. Number two, if they did, that would become a policy and they could never bring back Hulk Hogan. The other one is, there’s so much money in the [Paige] movie that [WWE] has already put in.”
