Once again, it’s up to the seven deities to offer their wisdom.

According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, WWE has extended offers to both Matt and Jeff Hardy, to make their return to the company. While nothing has been officially signed, an offer is currently on the table.

At this point, it is unknown whether the offer includes the use of the “Broken” Matt Hardy gimmick. It has been previously reported that he is currently in a legal dispute with TNA over who owns the right to the “Broken” character.

One other issue that needs to be considered is that “Broken” Matt and Brother Nero are the current Tag Team champions in ROH. Although their deal is only short term, it is unknown at this point what their current status is with the company.

We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available to us.

Editor’s Note:

I’m trying not to get my hopes up, because everything is so up in the air at this point. But, the thought of seeing the “Broken” brilliance in WWE gets me beyond excited. While I don’t know if it would work or not, the potential is through the roof.
