Former Women’s Champion Teasing A WrestleMania 33 Appearance

Last week, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that WWE is reaching out to former women’s stars about a WrestleMania 33 appearance. In the article, Trish Stratus and Lita were named as women who could make an appearance at this year’s show, sadly though, neither of them have teased a WrestleMania appearance.

However, if you’re a fan of Kelly Kelly, then you’ll be pleased to hear that she’s teasing an appearance at WrestleMania 33.

The former Divas Champion was backstage at this past Monday’s Raw, and she told WWE.com that she will be doing a signing at WrestleMania axxess, and when she was asked about an appearance at WrestleMania 33, she responded by saying “There is definitely a chance.”

“I will be doing Axxess signing, which, I cannot wait. So, please come out and say hi, cause I can’t wait. It’s been a few years since I’ve been away, so I love meeting the fans. Yeah, so look forward to that … and … ya never know. Maybe something else.”

On last night’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer suggested that WWE is going to do a women’s battle royal at WrestleMania, which is why they’re calling some of the women from the past.
