Pro Wrestling Sheet recently reported that Paige, real name Saraya Bevis, is facing potential battery charges following a recent incident at an Orlando airport involving her fiancé, Alberto El Parton.

“OPD detectives have found that probable cause exists to charge Saraya Bevis (Paige) with battery. Detectives have sent the information to the State Attorney’s Office for review and the SAO will determine whether to file charges in the case.”

WWE and Paige have had a ton of issues over the last year, as she’s been suspended twice for a pair of wellness policy violations. On top of the suspensions, her fiancé, the aforementioned El Patron, is constantly taking shots at WWE. So, she’s not exactly on the best of terms with the company at the moment.

If this was anyone else, WWE would’ve released them. However, WWE is involved in a Paige biopic, which is being produced by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, so they essentially have to keep her under contract while the project is still ongoing. But, if she ends up getting charged with battery, a company policy could force WWE to release her from her contract.

The policy states: “WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, child abuse and sexual assault. Upon arrest for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately suspended. Upon conviction for such misconduct, a WWE talent will be immediately terminated.”
