Dean Ambrose vs. Shane McMahon

Shane McMahon was originally booked to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33, but after Goldberg agreed to return to WWE, plans changed.

Vince McMahon considers his son to be a huge drawing card, because last year’s WrestleMania was pretty much built around the Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon match. So, it’s likely that the chairman wants to feature his son on the WrestleMania card yet again, this time against Dean Ambrose.

Dean Ambrose faced Brock Lesnar at this past year’s WrestleMania 32, and to be completely honest, the match stunk, mostly because — as Ambrose explained on the Steve Austin Show podcast — Lesnar didn’t really want to do anything in that match.

Ambrose can have a crazy, stunt-filled match with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 33. So, we could see a no disqualification match between the SmackDown commissioner and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the event.
