Pay per views tend to help. “Monday Night Raw’s” ratings haven’t been the strongest lately and they needed some help as we’re heading into the holiday season, which means a lower interest from the wrestling audience. However, things probably should have gone up coming off a pay per view, even one as low level as “Roadblock: End of the Line.”

It turns out that’s exactly what happened as, according to Showbuzzdaily.com, “Monday Night Raw’s” viewership was up slightly over the previous week with an average of 2.956 million viewers as compared to 2.758 million. The numbers went down throughout the show’s hours, with the first hour drawing 3.062 million and the last hour drawing only 2.632 million. Monday’s show was headlined by Roman Reigns/Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens/Chris Jericho.

Overall the numbers were up but that doesn’t mean it’s the best result. These numbers are still disappointing as only the first hour broke the three million mark. It doesn’t help that the main event scene is so cold right now. Braun Strowman being added could change a few things but if he’s just another name for Reigns to run over, not much is going to change as a result.
