Mickie James returned to WWE via NXT last month, and she looked great in her match against Asuka. In fact, she looked so great that she reportedly earned herself a full time contract, but, as of this writing, it’s unclear when she’ll return to the main roster.

Everyone’s probably in agreement that the SmackDown women’s division needs all the help it can get, so adding Mickie to the division would give it some much needed depth.

Becky Lynch is currently in a Women’s Championship program with Alexa Bliss, which will probably continue on for quite some time. So, we’ll probably see the two of them work with each other in some form in Orlando next April.

Lastly, we have Paige, who has been out of action for several months due to a multitude of reasons. Of course, her wellness policy suspension recently came to an end, but she’s currently not physically able to return to action because she recently underwent neck surgery. But, it does look like she’ll be ready to return to the ring in the spring.

Paige was originally drafted to Monday Night Raw, but WWE could move her over to SmackDown upon her return, and put her right into the Women’s Championship mix.
