This match depends on whether or not the AJ Styles vs. Undertaker Royal Rumble rumor is true. If it is, then Undertaker will likely defeat Styles, and get a short run with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

It’s been reported that WWE is planning an Undertaker vs. John Cena match for WrestleMania 33, and that the match will be for the title, which means that Cena will probably win the Royal Rumble match.

There’s one possibility that no one seems to be talking about, which is that Cena could win the Rumble, Undertaker could defeat AJ for the title, and then The Phenomenal One will invoke his rematch clause at WrestleMania 33, making it a triple threat title match.

The upside of doing this idea is that, Cena can defeat Styles, thus getting his win back, and tie Ric Flair’s record for most world title wins. It’d be a way to avoid beating Undertaker, and it’d also setup a future one on one match between Cena and The Deadman.
