There are several big names in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic already. One of the biggest names that is drawing a lot of hype is Zack Sabre Jr.
If you’re not aware of his talent yet, you soon will be. He’s a superstar of British Wrestling and many other promotions and was immediately considered to be the best technical wrestler in the world the moment Daniel Bryan stopped competing.
According to ProWrestlingSheet.com, there was a little bit of a scare for Sabre. During a match with Big Daddy Walter for WXW, his forearm was cut open after crashing into a ring post.
The match was cancelled almost immediately and he was taken to the hospital where he received five stitches. Sabre is going to miss the PWG show in Germany tonight.
You can see the injury right here, but Sabre also issued a statement and you can read below:
“This is the first injury in my 12-year career that has deemed it necessary to cancel dates, and whilst I have absolutely no desire to miss any in-ring time I’m remaining positive that the injury wasn’t more serious.”
“I’m going to make the most of some rare downtime with my family, a chance to rest and refresh my body, start home-brewing my own kombucha, alphabetise my record collection and prepare myself mentally and physically for the biggest summer of my career.”
Do you think Zack Sabre Jr. will win the WWE Cruiserweight Classic?
