Zack Ryder Bringing Back “Z! True Long Island Story”?

Zack Ryder has been with the WWE for a long time now, but the most momentum he had was built from the “cult” following of his Youtube show, “Z! True Long Island Story”. Back in 2012, many WWE Superstars and the WWE Universe got behind Ryder, which led to his United States title win at “TLC” that year.

Recently, Zack Ryder mentioned on Twitter that he has written a “reunion” episode of the show. Is it possible this episode could lead to a revival for Ryder’s Youtube show? Ryder posted the following on Twitter:

Z! True Long Island Story was pivotal in Ryder gaining momentum and proving that the WWE Universe could be on his side. The show created one-hundred episodes with fifty of them being shown on his YouTube channel and the rest on WWE’s channel.

Unfortunately, a resurrection of the show may not be enough for Ryder to get momentum back on the WWE main roster. Ryder is currently teaming with Mojo Rawley to form the “Hype Bros” in NXT, but they haven’t showed much in the way of being pushed to the WWE main roster.

Also, the show was a smash hit in 2012, but that was three years ago. This episode may just be a way to have some fun, reminisce, and move onto the next phase of Ryder’s career.
