It has become a tradition that Wrestlemania is a full week extravaganza for the WWE Universe. The event has become wrestling’s Super Bowl, which means that it’s the one time of year that people who don’t even watch wrestling tune in for the big show.
In more recent years, Wrestlemania weekend has a full three days of content for the WWE fans to enjoy. Friday will feature an NXT Takeover special and the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will take place on Saturday, and Wrestlemania concludes on Sunday.
However, WWE will be making some big changes for Wrestlemania weekend starting next year in Orlando. According to a report from CageSideSeats.com, WWE will be switching the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony and NXT Takeover to different nights.
WWE officials are looking to have the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday nights and then the NXT Takeover special on Saturday. These changes aren’t groundbreaking, it changes how WWE will be presenting the most important three days of the year.
Frankly, the Hall of Fame can go long in terms of time and forcing WWE’s personnel to sit for hours on end the night before the biggest show of the year has been tiresome. By switching the other two events, it’ll fix that problem and improve the entire weekend.
Do you think the WWE Hall of Fame taking place on Friday instead of Saturday is a good idea?
