Goldberg’s involvement with WWE2K17 has created quite a stir within the rumor mill that something is being developed for him on WWE programming.

It’s not likely to be for a match or anything significant, but a segment to promote the video game over the next several months isn’t out of the question for Goldberg.

Recently, the former WCW and WWE Champion spoke with 411Mania about the video game and his current relationship with the company.

You can read the full interview right here. Below are some of the highlights of the interview:

Has WWE contacted him about a potential return?

“WWE has not called me to be a part of any roster. My relationship with WWE stands with the video game and the video game only. If they want to extend an olive branch and pick up the phone, then I will make a comment on that once they do it. But prior to that, nothing’s been done.”

Has WWE contacted him about a Hall of Fame induction?

“No sir. I have not had any contact with them on that front whatsoever.”
