Two weeks ago, Daniel Bryan announced his retirement from pro wrestling. It’s been made crystal clear to him by doctors that he’ll never wrestle for WWE or any other promotion in the industry again.

It’s a bitter pill to swallow for Bryan, the fans, and for the industry as a whole. However, just because Daniel Bryan has called it a career and can’t compete in the ring anymore doesn’t mean he’ can’t still be valuable to the WWE product.

According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, while Bryan was in Seattle to announce his retirement, Vince McMahon was trying to convince him to be involved in Wrestlemania 32 in a non-wrestling role.

It’s being assumed that Vince’s thought process is that Bryan’s connection with the WWE Universe and the momentum of his retirement will help generate a lot of big-time buzz for Wrestlemania.

His retirement speech derailed many within WWE because it doesn’t look likely that he wants to be involved in Wrestlemania or WWE if he can’t be in the ring.

Now, Brie Bella has made it public that she intends to join her husband in retirement very soon. There are many saying that WWE may try, but Daniel Bryan is done appearing on WWE television for the time being.

Daniel Bryan could always change his mind once he’s had some time to get used to post-wrestling life, but it seems like he won’t be involved with Wrestlemania 32 this year as of this writing.
