WWE’s women are finally being given the proper time and respect that they deserve. It seems that WWE is very serious about presenting their women on an equal playing field to the men on WWE programming.
The “Divas Revolution” was just the beginning and it floundered somewhat, but the women’s movement in WWE is still very much alive and rebranding the division at Wrestlemania was a major step in the right direction.
According to DailyWrestlingNews.com, WWE is going to continue to make changes and tweaks to the division for it to become a top attraction for the company.
It’s being reported that Vince McMahon wants to see more distinct characters for the women, which is a part of the overall plan to revamp and rebrand the division.
The logic behind that is self-explanatory, but the idea is that defined characters in the division rather than performers who are debatably heel or face are going to be a thing of the past.
There are also sources reporting that Vince, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H are all really behind the recent changes to the women of WWE. The feels is that now is the time to begin making serious moves to improve things in the division and give it the respect, focus, and attention it deserves in 2016 and beyond.
Do you think the Women’s division is going to be fully accepted by the WWE Universe?
