As of this writing, the next time Brock Lesnar will appear on WWE programming is a WWE live event in Hawaii in late June, but there aren’t any confirmed plans for him to be back on WWE television.
The belief is that we’ll finally be getting a feud between The Beast Incarnate and The Eater of Worlds Bray Wyatt at “Summerslam” this August. That’ll cover this summer, but Vince McMahon is already thinking about Wrestlemania in Orlando.
According to a report from DailyWrestlingNews.com, Vince had a general discussion about early plans for next year’s Wrestlemania and he is very determined to have Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock as one of the main events.
Brock vs. Rock has been rumored since post-Wrestlemania 29, but it’s failed to become a reality. The Boss’ determination to make it happen this year is mainly contributed to the backlash of Ambrose vs. Lesnar from this year.
The report is claiming that Vince’s feeling after Wrestlemania in Dallas is that Lesnar’s time was “wasted” in a match with Dean Ambrose. It’s unlikely that criticism is a commentary on The Lunatic Fringe, but that it’s more about the money that he’s being paid and that the match got lost in the shuffle with sub par reviews.
